1) Transport Manager

The Australian High Commission in Islamabad is seeking applications to fill the position of the Transport Manager.  

The Transport Manager is responsible for providing transport, logistics and other client services and managing associated procurement, contract management and asset management processes for DFAT and all partner agencies at the Australian High Commission in Islamabad, Pakistan. This role also provides back-up support to the Property Manager as required.

The successful applicant will initially be offered a one-year employment contract which may be extended subject to the Australian High Commission’s requirement and agreement between the employer and the employee. A probation period applies.

2) Senior Research Officer - Agriculture (DAFF)

The Australian High Commission in Islamabad is seeking applications to fill the newly established position of Senior Research Officer - Agriculture.

 The Senior Research Officer - Agriculture is responsible for providing high level technical advice, policy development and analysis of Pakistan’s agricultural, food, fisheries, forestry, and associated trade policies in a range of areas of relevance to Australia, including government-to-government cooperation and capacity building; and for communicating effectively with interlocutors in Pakistani Government agencies to resolve queries and achieve outcomes in Australia’s interest.

The successful applicant will be offered a one-year employment contract which may be extended subject to High Commission’s requirement and agreement between the employer and employee.
